Meet Max's room
"Hello! I am Mariana Bach from the interior design studio Aurea Home Studio and I am here to tell you a little bit about Max's room."
Everything initially started with the choice of the wallpaper, which is the Ramitas green model from Alf&mabi. It is a very natural and neutral paper, with a warm green tone that caught my attention from the beginning. As a result, we started designing the rest of the things.
"All the other items in the room are very neutral as well and adapt to the different uses and moments in the baby's life. We have chosen a large dresser from Ikea with several drawers for its practicality in white, continuing with this neutral line."
The changing table and other elements like the laundry basket are made of rattan, to highlight natural materials, as we are in a very green environment. The mirror on the wall of the changing table was chosen to reflect light and multiply it in the room. The crib is made of natural wood that I love and with textiles that follow the palette of warm colors: light gray, beige, light brown... The rocking chair is antique; we have refurbished it and played with light-colored natural fabrics to add even more warmth. We have placed it next to the window, which has a privileged view with lots of greenery, and I think it will be a place where I can relax with the baby.
I love how the green seen through the window multiplies with this wallpaper.
"The room has been designed so that it is not too childish, so it can serve us for several years. And with furniture that would still be perfectly useful as the baby grows."
